National Holiday of November 23,
Japan has been celebrating a fall harvest with an ancient Shinto ceremony called Niinamesai, which literally means “the festival of new crops.”  Farmers are grateful to harvest, dedicated to God

Tori-no-Ichi at Hnazono Shrine in Shinjuku Novenber 23

The Tori-no-Ichi is conducted according to old Japanese customs, and is held on the days of the rooster in November.The festival continues until 2:00     
This good-luck rake is made of bamboo and is decorated with masks and koban (old gold coins).
