Jizō statues at the cemetery
4-7-35 Shiba-Koen, Minato at Zōjō-ji
rows of stone statues of children represent the unborn children including miscarried, aborted and stillborn children. Small jizo is decorated with clothing and toys. It is a small gift for Jizō.
this is meant to shorten the amount of suffering a child has to go through on the way to the afterlife
